Call 574-825-1579 or email Terry Herschberger CGB, GMB President Terry's experience in the building industry began with a summer job as a carpenter’s helper. He spent three years as a draftsman for national manufactured housing company, leaving to take a position with a growing architectural firm. Starting as a draftsman, he helped to implement the use of the company's first computers and CAD systems in the early 1980's. In 1986 he sat for the national Architects Registration Exam, passed all sections of the 32 hour test and received his Architect’s registration from the State of Wisconsin. He managed or worked on architectural and land-planning projects including retirement facilities, restaurants, churches, retail and office projects in several states from Kansas to New Jersey. In 1987 he went to work for as a designer and estimator for a local builder and went on to start his own company, 1-2-1 Designs, Inc. in 1993. Terry has been involved with the local Builders association for all of that time serving as President in 2000. He believes in continuing education as a means of delivering the industries' best practices to his clients. Terry's role is to work with people to develop their dreams and ideas into building plans. Part of this process includes helping them evaluate and prioritize their design and spending decisions. He also follows through in the construction phase, helping clients process hundreds of decisions in a relaxed and organized way.
